Jacqui is a visual artist and painter now based on the Bass Coast, Victoria.
She has lived for last 20 years in the Yarra Ranges, where she honed her painting practice and opened her studio annually in the regions Open studios program.
A lifelong career in graphic design has cultivated her creative ideas and discipline, but an early foundation and strength in drawing and fine art studies is now her full time passion.
For over a decade she has exhibited paintings of Australian landscapes .
Her paintings are derived from site sketches and memory, filled with recurring motifs and rapid gestural brush strokes. Her art is a fusion of natural subjects and vibrant colour palettes that capture the atmosphere of each location.
The Fauvists and Blau Reiter movements, and expressionists of the 20th century are influences that all experimented in radical ways. Jacqui is more interested in developing painterly qualities over realistic values, which keeps her paintings evolving and unique with their own alchemy and visual language.

A final collection of forest bathing landscapes will be exhibited at Leeson St Gallery in Cowes in late June.
Join me for my next solo show in March 2026 at Station Gallery in Yarragon. Newly released works on canvas feature coastal dunes and sea scapes of the Bass Coast in South Gippsland.
I will also show a variety of works in a group show with our UP Artisans collective of hills artists at Oak Hill Gallery in Mornington for whole month of October 2025.
