Jacqueline is a visual artist based on the Bass Coast in Victoria, Australia.
Her art explores the intersection of memory and place, shaped by her travels and direct observations of the Australian landscape.
A creative career in design and advertising led her back into studio art making, exploring painting and graphic arts like printmaking.
She has exhibited her work in many Melbourne galleries and also hosted annual open studios visits over the last decade.
Her subjects include local scenery, still life objects and botanica.
Jacqui mostly paints in a series of works, developing new styles with an uplifting and energetic use of colour, influenced by a love of Impressionism, Expressionism and Fauvism. Her processes change to express responses and intuitive memories of the things and places that inspire her daily life.
